PSP were recently appointed by BCD Meetings and Events to provide turnkey technical production for a large scale retail conference for 1,500 delegates at the NEC.

The 4 day event was made up of numerous plenary sessions and multiple breakouts across both Halls 9 and 10, with a technical support team of over 40 industry professionals.

The plenary space in Hall 9 was brought to life with an immersive scenic design, enveloping the audience in three 26m wide high definition front projection screens.

A total of 24 Panasonic 20K laser projectors were utilized to produce 21million pixels across the 3 screens, captivating the audience with content. Various media servers powered the screens with both video and PowerPoint content and all control was handles by our Barco e2 system.

Live camera relay to the screens and recording across the duration of the show was handled by 3 camera channels.

The lighting rig consisted of 60 fixtures; 40 x Chauvet moving heads and 24 x LED washes provided house light.

The new crystal clear Shure Axient radio mic system was used and an Alcons line array system provided excellent audio reinforcement across the space.
