The past 6 months have been the busiest to date so far for the team at PSP, with the average week seeing between 15-20 events delivered!
We have enjoyed welcoming a number of new clients on board, focussing this time on the rapidly expanding Maddox Events.
Maddox Events started up in 2015 as 3 passionate event profs in a small West London office. Having had an incredible few years focusing on events targeted at women in business, and supporting diversity, empowerment and inclusion across various industry sectors across the globe, the business now sits at over 40 staff with a global portfolio of 16 large scale conferences and exhibitions.
PSP’s first project working in partnership with Maddox was the European Women in Technology Conference, where we delivered full technical and creative production.
Held at the RAI Amsterdam, with a 2-day build, followed by 2 live show days and a hefty 8 hour derig, the event welcomed over 2000 delegates and 178 keynote speakers from across the global technology industry.
Prior to the live event, PSP provided full technical pre-production services including site visits, CAD planning, 3D visuals, content design, equipment and crew management.
On site, the plenary consisted of a 20m widescreen projector blend, an L’Acoustics line array system, over 60 lighting fixtures and 3 camera channels with live vision mixing and record. The bespoke set and stage was designed in line with the colour branding and geometric theme of the event.
There were 2 additional theatres fitted out with full video, audio, lighting, and individually designed set & staging. Alongside this were a further 10 breakout rooms with small sets and branding opportunities alongside PA systems and filming. All video footage was edited in house post event.
The whole event was a complete success thanks to the 40 hard working and dedicated crew.
We’ve got a number of exciting projects in the pipeline and are looking forward to an even bigger and better 2019 with the Maddox team!
