The opening night of the reinvented PSP Live Studios went off with a bang with a fun filled line up from The Gamma Show.
Usually held as a live festival for their 1,500 employees across Europe, Gamma had to reinvent their internal event and go virtual. The idea of the event was to transform this festival in to a TV show, our client Pete Goulding and his team came up with the fantastic concept of The Gamma Show.
With a full day rehearsal in preparation for the 2.5 hour live show, the event was hosted by The Tidy Boys and included live performances from Ben Monteith and Duke, pre-recorded Rockaoke with live voting and live winner announcements, and a beat box session with Gamma’s Senior Management team.
Our in house studio set up consisted of 4 x broadcast cameras, Hippotizer running live content across a 12m x 3m corner LED and a 4m x 3m curved presenter LED screen, controlled through our Barco e2.
We also collaborated with Noonah to produce a virtual digital mosaic which populated 1,500 images throughout the evening with guests sending in their pictures from home.
Stats from our Virtual Event Hosts platform showed that the audience interaction with the virtual event peaked at 1,509 chat messages, 1,358 poll votes and 3,479 emoji reactions throughout the night.
The 15 technical crew, event team and presenters on site all adhered to social distancing guidelines and looked great in their Gamma branded facemasks!
“Quick email to say a massive thank you for Friday's Gamma Show. I genuinely mean when I say I could not have wished for a better company to facilitate the show in terms of platform, studio and facilities, not to mention your incredible team who were all just so professional and extremely helpful. I stated right from the start I was in an area of the business which was new to me and I am so grateful for all your help and guidance which gave me the essential assurance required in the lead up and played a massive part in the successful delivery of the show.”
